U2 a écrit beaucoup de chansons sur la guerre. The unforgettable fire en compte un grand nombre, et c'est très certainement l'album que je préfère de tous, pour ses textes et sa musique.

Ma cafetière ronronne, l'odeur du café se répand dans ma chambre, et la musique m'envoûte. Écouter cet album, c'est revenir dix ans en arrière. Écouter cet album, c'est s'émouvoir beaucoup, en se penchant sur la gravité des textes. Écouter cette musique, c'est sentir combien la vie ne tient parfois qu'à un fil, et combien il est important de s'y raccrocher...
